Wkend celebrations
we had a belated father's day lunch at jumbo on sat (:
a very sumptuous one i wld say,
esp the fleshy black pepper n chilli crabs in giagantic sizes. yum yum.
And for sun... is the day for jan's adv bdae celebration tgt with yanz, kailin and andrew.
KTV at dynasty, boat-ride along the spore river! Jan... hope u enjoyed urself (:

Guilt Free Pleasure
it was a pleasant yet tiring day for me.
had lunch with mei today as she is working exactly in the same building as me! (:(:
and i will like to introduce a new rest. in case some may not noe, located at katong.
we had an impromptu dinner at Naive. They specially introduce organic healthy food such as the monkeyhead mushroom...
a new catch - They have a strange ritual called the "Blessing of the Sesame Seeds" where they give each table a pounder with black and white sesame seeds in it and ask you to pound it. It apparently represents the blessings in your life or something. And it can be sprinkle on top of your rice or dishes...
yummlicious golden oat (fried tofu with cereal), brown/olive rice, monkeyhead mushroom with broccoli and drinks - passion of life (passionfruit) :p
finally something sweet to wrap off... hot pumpkin with sago...
we totally loved it, everything we had, to be exact.
And so mr tan decides to bring me down here every mid of the month to savour different organic family-like homecooked dishes (:

A Lazy Post
a quick review for the week.
celebrated baby tang's full month n my place was overcrowded with 100 over relatives and frens.
nice colleagues but mundane job scope,
time remains to pass slowly. but it's different this time. work is boring.
enjoyed the movie "ghost of gf past" with yan, jan and boi (:
ate xin wang taiwan restaurant at citylink but i doubt i will be gg back.
did some masterpiece work which is still in progress...
tt's abt it. it's monday again.

the end is just another begining
Time seems to pass slowly these days, so much slower.
Everyday i woke up from my dreams, I'll thot 'today is a Saturday' but is not! It's definitely not due to boredom, but simply becos life is more layback now than before. Of course, this is something that I've longed for since donkey years ago and I like this just as much. Woke up and dazed at the empty space, breakfast followed by some light housework, hide in my nest and surf the net... give baby tang a hug whenever he cries, lazy afternoon nap, chill out with loved ones, watch my fav drama-mama... blahh so on...
i miss morning big breakfast :(
but all gd things will come to an end isnt it? yes, it is true.
so i guess i had enuff rest, that's why internship popped out unexpectedly from nowhere.
Time to kick my butt off the comfort zone, continue the long endless run.
Experience and learn the ugly side of society.

at last.
everything is similar to timbre@substation.
open air concept, yummy pizza.. except for the music theme. Instead of liveband, they had a solo singing in jazz style, playing her own piano.

he likes my new toy toooo (: heh.
and this time we dedicated a few songs...
jan joined us later in the night (:(:
i realized i forget to take pix with jan! *humph*
had 2nd serving of pizza :p in case u cant figure out what it is... it's a fish. LOL
in addition, we had buffalo wings too *burppppppppp*

My New Toy
wensheng jiefu bought a macbook using my student card for the promo and they gave a itouch n printer for freeeee!!! *gd deals*
the delivery man passed the nicely wrapped box to me and i saw a card written below...

he decided to give me the itouch since he aldy has one! (:(:(:as a gift for helping to take care of his baby. so worth it laaaaa... YAYNESS! hah
i luv my new toy to bitssss. the games, the application, the functions...but it crashed today :( i managed to revive it.. but the games app is still not working.

The RUFU Run
sun held the RUFU (Race of Unity, Friendship & Uniqueness) run @ Toa Payoh Park which me n mei had attended the training fer the past 2 wkends. A total of 511 students from all polys to ite to JCs to Uni students participated and gathered tgt. Well, win or lose doesnt matter. What's matter most is that we had fun and get to know more new friends as well as taking this chance to work out and sweat! It was a RAH-RAH day for me (:
To dare, To dream, To win. These 3 teams represented the nus student division.
i didnt woke up in time to meet the rest for warm up. Thankew mei fer calling me to wake me uP! heh :p
A RUFU marble was given to each of us as a token of appreciation.
"Life is like a marathon, even if you should fall a bit behind others during the race, there is no need to be impatient, as long as you win in the end. The person who breaks the tape at the finishing line is the true victor!"

Change of Plan
i was intending to nuan thruout my last summer holiday, until i recd a call ytd for my internship interview which i've applied in feb (totally forgot abt it!). Work will officially commence on 15th Jun at tanjong pagar (i'm sorry to pang sei congee's job offer for the IT fair). With that, i can get to enjoy another wk of freedom n babysitting (: yayness!
accompanied my sis n baby tang to doctor visit for his BCG. he cried so badly...
boi is backed from his one day fishing trip @ desaru. too bad i cant join him.
fresh fishes on its way to my place now!
i wan to go fishing too.
i wan to dive again soon.
i wan to go timbre old school.
i wan to eat at ma maison.

First Day!
Today marks the first day of June
first day of yanz internship tgt with jan @ central
(i can go find u gers fer lunch when i go fer my dental yay!)
first day of babysitting w/o my jie fu ard (oh dear, he is gg back to work)
first day for gy's new found job too! he has decided to give sch a miss first while he continues to think abt wad he really wans to study rather than blindly hopped into a business course.
(i noe he is oni interested in marine biology) And of cos, i supported his decision (:
he is lucky enuff to find a pretty ok job for the nx 6 mths.
he has to feeeeed the jobless meeeeeeeeeee. i promise to control my diet.
As for me, work starts on 11th @ Suntec IT fair. I'm prepared to withstand the looong tiring hours for tt short 4 days. I kinda doubt if i can sell a single laptop.
